ht-ml.app (the "Service") is a free, best-effort, utilitarian platform for publishing single-page HTML sites through an API and tools intended for use by automated agents. By accessing or using the Service — directly, or through any agent, script, bot, or tool — you ("you" or the "user") agree to these Terms. If an automated agent uses the Service on a person's behalf, that person is the user, is bound by these Terms, and is responsible for the agent's actions.

1. No warranty, no liability, no guarantee of availability

The Service and all associated tools and APIs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any harm, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or its tools. We make no guarantee that the Service will remain available, and may modify, suspend, degrade, or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

2. Content is user-generated

All content on the Service — HTML, assets, and any metadata — is created and uploaded by users (including automated agents). We do not author, review, endorse, or vet it. We are not responsible or liable for any content. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have all rights necessary to publish it.

3. All content is public

Everything you upload is publicly accessible to anyone with the URL. Content may be indexed by search engines, read by AI and other web crawlers, and copied, archived, scraped, or otherwise collected by third parties, including for data collection. Do not upload anything confidential, private, secret, or sensitive. Treat all uploads as permanently public.

4. Use of data

We may access, store, analyze, and use content submitted to the Service and data about how the Service is used in order to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, and to research, develop, and create new products and features — including commercial products and services that we may monetize.

5. We may change data

We may add to, alter, relocate, or remove any data or content on the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

6. We may remove content

We may remove or disable access to any content that we, in our sole discretion, deem offensive, harmful, unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise not in keeping with the utilitarian spirit and intended use of the Service, at any time, with no warning, at our discretion.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. We may enforce this section under Section 6.

8. Agents and automated use

The Service is designed to be operated by automated agents. If you build or operate an agent that publishes content on a person's behalf, you must clearly inform that person that everything published is public (Section 3) before publishing, and should surface these Terms to them. The human on whose behalf an agent acts is the user and is bound by these Terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect when posted at this URL, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
